Solar Street Lights
Solar street lights are independent of the utility grid. Hence, the operation costs are minimized Solar street lights require much less maintenance compared to conventional street lights. Accidents is minimized, since external wires are eliminated. No polluting in Solar Street Light Our Solar Street Light parts can easily be dismantled and carried to anywhere.
When we talk about Solar Street light, we are referring to a large selection of illumination which can be used in Streets, Highways, Roads, Bridges Car parks Assembling ground and General area lighting. We design Street Lights with or without a column. Our latest LED technology can illuminate large areas. These are zero maintenance! We also offer systems that can attach to an existing post or column so it is easier than ever to retro-fit your current lighting. All our Street Light can be DIY installed without the need of an electrician. Our latest Solar Street Light designs use wireless technology and fuzzy control theory for battery management. The lights using this technology can operate as a network with each light having the capability of performing on or off the network
Solar street lights consist of 5 main components:
Solar Panel – The solar panel is one of the most important parts of solar street lights, as the solar panel will convert solar energy into electricity. wattage systems.
Lighting Fixture – LED is usually used as lighting source of modern solar street light, as the LED will provide much higher Lumens with lower energy consumption. The energy consumption of LED fixture is at least 50% lower than HPS fixture which is widely used as lighting source in Traditional street lights. LEDs lack of warm up time also allows for use of motion detectors for additional efficiency gains.
Rechargeable Battery – Battery will store the electricity from solar panel during the day and provide energy to the fixture during night. The life cycle of the battery is very important to the lifetime of the light and the capacity of the battery will affect the backup days of the lights.
Controller – Controller is also very important for solar street light. A controller will usually decide to switch on /off charging and lighting. Some modern controllers are programmable so that user can decide the appropriate change of charging, lighting and dimming.
Pole – Strong Poles are necessary to all street lights, especially to solar street lights as there are often components mounted on the top of the pole: fixtures, panels and sometimes batteries. However, in some newer designs, the PV panels and all electronics are integrated in the pole itself. Wind resistance is also a factor.
Each street light can have its own photo voltaic panel, independent of other street lights. Alternatively, a solar panel farm or a number of panels can be installed as a central power source on a separate location and supply power to a number of street lights
The solar street lights use solar energy, a form of the renewable energy. The solar street lights comprise of the photovoltaic cells, which absorb the solar energy during daytime. The photovoltaic cells convert solar energy into electrical energy, which is stored in the battery. At the night time the lamp starts automatically and it consumes the electricity already stored in the battery. During the day time the battery gets recharged and the process keeps on repeating every day.
Our Models of Solar Street Lights:
Sodium Vapor Lights: The sodium street lights use sodium in excited state to discharge the light. These lights comprise of the solar panels as usual that absorb the solar energy during the day, which is converted into electricity and stored in the batteries. At night time the sodium lamps consume electricity from the rechargeable battery. There is no wiring required for these lamps, they are very safe and can light the streets for up to 12 hours depending on the size of the solar panels and battery. The sodium solar street lights can be used for lighting streets, public places, residential areas, parks, plaza etc.
Solar LED lights: LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. LED comprises of the chemical compound that give light when direct current from the battery passes through it. We have Solar LEDs in different sizes, shapes and styles. The life of our LED is very high up to 50,000 hours, which is equivalent to 10 years. Our LEDs require very little current hence we design the solar panels of smaller sizes for lighting the streets, public places, residential areas, car parks, plaza, estates etc
Solar lights using induction technology: In this technique the lamps used in the solar lights do not contain the filament or the electrodes that tend to get damaged faster, thus ensuring very high life of the lamp. The life of the lamp in solar street lights based on induction technology can be more than 10, 0000 hours, which is almost 100 times the life of the incandescent lamps. These results in lower maintenance and electrical costs and fewer disturbances caused to the traffic on the road. Since these lights are based in induction technology, they generate lesser heat, thus permitting the use of aluminum reflectors that increases the intensity of the light produced by the lamp
Solar street lights are raised light sources which are powered by photovoltaic panels generally mounted on the lighting structure or integrated in the pole itself. The photovoltaic panels charge a rechargeable battery, which powers a fluorescent or LED lamp during the night.
We have ranges of solar street light to meet weather condition in any environment. Some of our solar panels turn on and turn off automatically by sensing outdoor light using a light sensor technology. Some are design with timer technology. Our Solar street lights are designed to work throughout the night. We usually use flat solar panels to installed Solar lights in windy regions to cope better with the winds.
With our experience in solar street light installation all over the world, we are able to minimised risk of theft in vulnerable areas.
We carried out street light maintenance as long as the customer want.
We are the best – pace9 – setting the pace.
